Using HK tuner for SIRIUS radio

Hello all

I just got my MINI Cooper last weekend and I of course love it. I want to move my SIRIUS from my old car, a Ford Focus, to my MINI. Is the factory installed HK system SIRIUS ready? If so what do i need to buy and use to get SIRIUS for the mini.

Thanks

Mini sells an option for sirius for $400 + install

Or

get a soundgate sirius adapter($100) and a kenwood tuner box(Free if your best buy has any left) and an antenna($50).

Or

 Get a Sirius plug and play $100-$150. You can use it in the car or home(for an additional $50 home kit). The plug and play gives you the best function and display. If you go this route then get the Mini $40 ipod adapter that puts a input in your glove box. After that you can install it yourself. My recomendation.

Motor on with Sirius.

I think you mean the Aux Jack, the Ipod Adapter isn't out yet (and according to Motoringfile.com may be delayed).

But that's definately a great way to go. You don't have to put the Aux Jack in the glovebox if you do it yourself...

I thought that they sold that aux input as an Ipod input. At least till they came out with this new thing.

I hadn't heard of a name change, and it definately accepts input from more than just Ipods.

Yea my bad. I just pulled out the accessory book and its on page 30 & 31. Auxiliary Audio Plug (P/N 82 11 0 153 367) $39.95. It shows a pic of an I pod. That is where I got that idea.

But if you are going to keep the mini radio its a must have.
