anyone know how to get to the antenna amplifier located behind the left rear trim panel? on a 2009 R56 base radio? I'm not exactly sure where it's located but it's on the wiring diagram as a separate module

I already replaced my diversity module so the antenna amp is next on the list

 

Still working on the car, I'm getting 11.87 volts at the diversity module power wire, that enough to operate it properly? The reception does die when I unplug the power wire

the battery tested at 12.5 to 12.3 and my solar cont tester says it's still good

I should also note, my 2nd key is brand new and it has the same range issues

 

Still no luck, anyone know where the radio module is located? on bmw's they put it back in the trunk

 

still working on it, does anyone have a diagram for the right and left side filter/traps and what those antenna wires are going to?

I'm bypassing all of the crap now and have a stick on antenna feeding the radio directly, until I can figure out what is causing the problem.
