Album Artwork

Has anyone happened to get the correct album artwork and song titles to display over the display. I have the fully loaded package with connect and navigation XL and it is so frustrating that it never works. You could be listening to a male artists song with a picture of Katy Perry showing that you played three songs back. Anyone brought this up to the dealer or had any resolution with this? It just baffles me that you pay so much for a vehicle and it isn't working as you were told.

New 2012 owner here, not much time in car but album art seems to work. I am baffled that I get album art when using USB to play music.

It does work perfect now with the update and using the USB, but the audio quality is not that good. Sounds much better over Bluetooth. The USB connection fixes the album artwork and song title but the volume is super low and it doesn't sound as good. Any recommendations?

I have only used the usb. I will try with Bluetooth later to see if there is a difference in sound quality. The sound seemed good to me. Do you have the base or HK system?

I have the HK system. Let me know your thoughts as far as the sound when you do try.

If you're using a y-cable a common issue people have that causes sound to come through at low volume is not having the aux plug all the way in. Sounds dumb, I know... but it actually needs a firm push to snap in. I was initially afraid to push enough to get it in all the way thinking I'd break something. Might not be the issue but double check.

I am not using the y cable I believe, I am just simply connecting the USB lightning cord my my iPhone directly to the USB port. Do I need the connector that has both the USB and aux built in one in order to not have the issue with the volume?

Honestly don't know. Might want to swing by dealer and check it out...they would have one you could test with.
