I downloaded the US version of Journey Mate yesterday, and found it to be a MINI app with some value.

It doesn't have the send-to-car functionality from Google that many of us would like to see (returned to MINI Connected — see the threads in the 2nd generation Navigation and Audio forum), but it's close. You can use your phone, away from your car, to set up a destination, then when you enter your car, you can have that destination appear in your NAV system.

Based on the Motoringfile article I linked, it sounds like this is only available for newer models (F56 and I'm guessing F55). I hadn't seen anything mentioned about this on NAM and thought I'd spread the word.
