Navigation & Audio Alpine Head Unit not retaining settings.

Alpine Head Unit not retaining settings.
Hey all,
I'm in the midst of upgrading to an Alpine UTE-52BT. I'm using the 70-9003 Metra adapter harness, and piggybacking the Alpine KTP-445U amplifier. The system SOUNDS fantastic. (Focal components/10" Bazooka sub). The problem is, the HU is not retaining any of my settings once the car shuts off for a few minutes. I have to re-sync my Bluetooth and it switches back into Demo mode. I've triple checked my connections, and my yellow (constant) connects to the Green/Red of the factory harness. (2007 MCS, Base system) I ran the red wire to that spot and the radio will stay on, so I know it's constant power. Does that power shut off after a certain amount of time? Should I find another power source to tap into?
