For a while now, my car's phone book has begun listing only the in-car contacts and a select few (only those contacts that share my last name) from my iPhone 4s when connected via Bluetooth. When I swap phones with my wife's iPhone 5, her phone's complete contact list is downloaded, but when I swap back, only the abbreviated list is downloaded. I have made sure that I select "All Contacts" (and not ant Groups) on my iPhone prior to pairing.

I'm not sure if it's related, but this began happening after I upgraded both my MINI software (Connected, no Nav) to 003.005.004, and iPhone to iOS 7.0.4. I also had my car (R60) in to the dealer for service.

On my iPhone, I had created a filtered contact Group called "Mobile" which I selected prior to pairing my iPhone, and it worked great for over a year. I do not know what event caused this convenience to go away, and why it only happened to my iPhone 4s and not my wife's iPhone 5, but I really would like to get it back.

 

Was your car reprogrammed last time it was serviced?

 

Not that I'm aware of. It was a regular interval, and no mention was made of reprogramming on the invoice. What effect would a reprogramming have?
