Navigation & Audio Any head units compatible with the MFSW?
#2
I installed an Alpine CDA-7892 which is XM ready (just plug in to the unit), since 2002 and have not had a problem with my MFSW. An aux unit is required to make it work, but will work with most if not all remote units out there. I’ve been using mine almost 2 years now from the steering wheel and love it.
I can’t remember the name of the unit, but doing a deep search in the audio forum and using MFSW you will find it. A hint is start from 2002 and come forward. It only cost $25/30 and was the pinnacle of the system because I could use the MFSW.

Looking for the same thing, and I don't even have the car yet
Anyway, I did a search on our boards and found a few links. Forgive the lack of html in this, please.

I have an Alpine Cda 7998 headunit that is an XM unit, mp3/cd playback and matches the amber of the nite lite perfectly. I had a PAC SWI-X installed at the same time and have been able to use all of my steering wheel controls.
