Nav night mode

Is there anyway to get the nav system to switch to night mode automatically? Seems like a big unnecessary pain to have to manually switch it or be blinded!

Just turn the brightness down, I can't find an automatic way so that's the best way I know of! Give it a shot!

No, sorry. Google MK4 night mode to read many things about the night mode, but the short answer is no, it isn't supported unless you have a Rover 75 with MK3 nav. Which you don't.
