Radio Display Disappears when hot

Hey all....

I have an 07 S. The radio display becomes basically blank when the inside temperature in the car seems to get into the "warm" range. It seems like portions of the LCD screen seem to fade at some points, and then the rest of it seems to just stop working.

Is this something that is easily replaced? Where would I get the parts from (Mini or another route)

Thanks in advance!

Doing the same on my 09 MCS. It doesn't go entirely blank, but definitely fades in the upper right side. Everything looks fine in cooler temps. I have the basic (Boost?) head unit.

Mine is almost completely blank when it's above 70 outside. I wish it was something that wasn't expensive. Seems like you should be able to swap out the display. I'll have to check the local junk yards and try taking one apart.

I have the same problem, when its hot outside there will be streaky lines (up and down) that sometimes will cover up a lot of the pixels. Seems like yet another flaw.
