20GB U2 Special, looks great with my black interior, currently using the pro-clip system and teh Monster charger.

Careful about comments from Chefrichie, his downloadds are nothing but f-1 audiotracks, he scares everyone at stop lights!!

Love it.

Love my iPod

I love my iPod. I bought the first generation 5gig and it's mounted using the ProClip USA mount. I have it running through the "brain" for my Pioneer in-dash 7" DVD player, via Monster Cable adapter.

I have a 3rd generation 10Gb iPod, connected with the MINI interface.

My iPod and the interface wire are placed on the Euro parcel tray

I love my iPod, but since it is only 10Gb, it is almost full (1800 songs and 400Mb free)...

20 gb u2 se

20 gb u2 se, i have the mini adapter & hide it in the glove box, it's great to control the functions from the steering wheel. it's not that hard to diy install, just beware the factory instructions have a few inconsistencies.

I just took out the cup of the cup holder and the Belkin cup mount fits right in without the cup. However macmice is coming out with something really cool in May. you can find it at: http://www.dvforge.com/podbuddy.shtml
I will probably pick it up and then put the cup back on.

Just curious... How did you guys get the stereo out? We have the cables, and now just need to get the stereo pulled out. Has anyone seen instructions for this? Thanks!

I've owned an iPod since they first were introduced. Now, I'm using my 4th iPod.

Anyway I don't like my cars filled with cords and clutter and was excited when Apple and MINI got together and came out with the iPod adaptor that fits into the glove box. I couldn't wait to get my hands on one! Until I found out the track titles, etc. aren't shown on the head unit display. What a scandal! Unbelievable.

In my opinion, not being able to visually interact with the iPod takes away one of the biggest reasons why iPods are so cool—the ability to navigate through mass amounts of music in a small, portable package. Right?

In keeping with the spirit of the iPod, we should have the ability to see track titles!
