Hi All,

I have 2003 H/K system I had cracking sounds from the speaker, so I placed a new amp in (R52). The crackling sound is gone, but I still have no sound. The radio itself is working. Just no sound.

Any thoughts????

 

You saying you put in a used amp from a r52 into an older car?
Sounds like the used amp has an issue or the radio/wiring bad....

 

I took my R50 out, and placed a new R52 in my 2003 mini

So you bought an amp from a r52 CAR and installed it in your r50 car?
was the amp NEW or USED? Who installed the AMP....
check your fuses?
How do you know the radio works other than just the lights on the screen?

 

bought a new r52 amp. The fuses are fine. As for the radio, I only know based on the lights on the screen.
