Navigation & Audio 2013 MINI Roadster, iPhone 5 and MINI Connected?

2013 MINI Roadster, iPhone 5 and MINI Connected?
So I've just ordered my 2013 Roadster and I also just received an iPhone 5. I was excited about MINI Connected until I read a few things about the new phone not being compatible with the interface of MINI Connected. I have yet to read ANYTHING from an actual owner of both a iPhone 5 and MINI Connected to know if truly doesn't work or if it does! Anyone out there with first hand knowledge? Thanks!

The question is the definition of "fine." Is both iPod out and iPod Video out working as they do with pre-iPhone 5's?
