I am going nuts trying to determine if an Alpine radio from an 06 will fit my 04. I've tried searching the forums and RealOEM but I'm not having any luck. Anybody know if it should plug and play? I have the HK system and it looks like the 06 is the same. The 06 is labeled As a model CD53 R50. I have not pulled mine out yet so I do not know what mine is.

Yes, it will be a direct swap. All headunits for every year of the 1st generation MINI are interchangeable.
