ID3 Tag not working

Hello. I have been searching for this information for a few weeks now and have not found any clear answer so forgive me if there's other threads that address this.

I have a 2006 R53 JCW with HK. I am trying to get the ID3 tags to show on either MP3 discs or IPOD. I bought the car with a connector in the glove box which I am assuming is the factory IPOD connector (If there's a way to tell the difference, let me know and I'll check).

On the radio, when playing the IPOD, the only information that shows is Track 1, Track 2, etc. Same type of thing for the MP3 discs except it shows a folder as well. 1-1, 1-2, etc.

How do I get the ID3 tags to show? Yesterday I burned a new MP3 disc with ID3 v1.0 tags with no success. I have seen referenced that there is a way to change the view to list but have been unable to figure out how.

Help! This is really the only thing that I absolutely HATE about my mini.

Any info is appreciated.

-Laura

Neither the factory iPod adapter nor the headunit (for mp3 discs) support displaying ID3 tags. Some aftermarket iPod adapters (DICE, Icelink and others) will display ID3 tags on the headunit.

Okay so I would have to get an ipod adapter for the id3 tags to work for the ipod... is there any way for them to work with mp3s?
