Navigation & Audio R53 H&K radio will not reset.

R53 H&K radio will not reset.
After lots of forum reading and searching I am baffled by this situation
I have tried an ecu reset by disconnecting the battery and also through ECU
This all started after I disconnected the Battery, so that I could install the CAI. The head unit displayed radio stations etc. without sound, assume the amp is bad prior to battery disconnect.
Pressing the power button then immediately the M does not do anything either.
Has anyone encountered this? Any solutions to the problem.
