Just picked up a 2016 2 door hardtop base and I noticed an echo in the radio not the USB output. The echo exists momentarily and then stops any other examples of this phenomena for others.

 

Found out echo is the radio trying to find the best signal when using both high def and analog Input

 

That sometimes happens to mine as well when I switch to HD stations.

 

Properly configured HD stations should have the proper delay on the analog side. Very few stations are properly set up.

 

Definitely a problem with the radio switching from HD to analog because of fringe signal. Not the radio's fault really... Other HD radios will do this too.

If this is happening to you, turn off HD radio (While in Radio: OPTION button, HD Radio Reception: UNCHECKED)
