Hi @ll, i am installed original bluetooth module with all cables, armster etc.. but now system cant detect it, in official delaer say me that bluetooth is not an option after purchase in my car because is not compatible with my car.


i am deinstalled all cables and parts from a mini r56 with RADIO BOOST and i am fitting into R56 with navigator.

please anyone can help me to make to run ???

Well you need to give us a lot more info like

what year and model car you have?

what country you live in?

list ALL options that came with the car?

until we have that we have no idea if it can be installed or not.

As for the dealer stating you car is not compatible it may be but highly unlikely. They probably just done want to go thru the hassle of programming it into the car.

Even if all the parts are installed correctly the cars numerous computers have to be programmed to know the items have been installed. It WILL NOT work with out the progamming.

 

problem is dealer say that my car is not suitable to retrofit bluetooth, it means that if i want to install after purchase bluetooth OEM, is NOT possible because BMW not have any retrofit kit for my car.

My R56: january 2010, with navigation pro ONLY, without usb, wout bluetooth, nothing, only navi pro.

Other mini R56 that i deinstall bluetooth: june 2008, Radio bost, bluetooth (of corse).

BMW-Mini can not manaage anything in my car about bluetooth because module i installed is not compatible.

Then, i searched web and i found a bluetooth adapter to fit in all mini R56 independent of to have NAVI, visual radio, or radio. It is detected in system as original bluetooth and the best WITHOUT REPRO ANYTHING, autofits in system. All buttons, options, phonebook etc.. is controled with original system. ITS FANTASTIC

The name of this fabulous adapter is FISCON PRO. very good product.

Then, i can sell original bluetooth kit to buy this adapter (around 400€ )

A number of people here have used the FISCON PRO unit an all like it and it is cheaper and easier to retrofit than the OEM.

As for your car the problem I see is that the bluetooth module you installed is not the correct one for the radio/nav system you had. If you had gotten the correct part number item for your car it should have worked.

 

yes, this is problem, the unit i have is form Mini with RADIO and i have NAVI. i need the ULF module.

if i change unit from commbox(?) to ULF preserving all cables, it can work?
