Diversity antenna amplifier for Nav

Does anyone have any photos of it or memory of what a navigation diversity amplifier/trap looks like?

Mine is a non navigation car. WDS shows Navigation one to have 3 wires in, 2 wires out in the diagram, but it could be an older or generic diagram.

RealOEM only shows one part number, but of course that could mean that they only sell one as a 'universal'. Does anyone have any insight?

I suppose what I'm really asking is: Is there a difference in this circuit (or antenna) for a navigation/non navigation car?

I have studied the diagrams and I cannot really see any difference. I am inclined to believe the problem lies with your coding... Have you managed to get INPA working? It has a nice script to test the antenna reception. If not you can also read the reception quality with the service menu, after you select a specific frequency.

Did you buy the unit from the UK? Maybe it is just a coding issue as I you do specify the region for the CCC and tuner.

Dealer ran a diagnostic on the car. There is no antenna signal. The Tech felt the coding looked correct. *shrug*

The car was from New York (NA) and found me in TX 3 times now. SO it's about 25 miles 'off' at the moment.

I'm starting to think HIP module or maybe Antenna. I've not played with INPA yet, but it's on my 'todo' list.

With my coding, I did manage to kill the RTTI (traffic info) feature. I need to re-activate that at some point.

Looks like the diversity antenna/amp is the same.

RTTI was fixed with adding $6UH to my VO
