Best Microphone Location

I have a Parrot CK3000 bluetooth car kit ordered & want to know the best location to mount the microphone.

I seem to remember someone on this forum posting that their mic was on top of the steering column.

That would be in a convertible.

As for where to mount it I personally would say in the OEM location which is in the roof console drivers side

Well i just learned something new today. I have not seen a coupe yet so i do not know much about them but in a few weeks when i head to the dealership i will get a good chance to look at one.
