Anyone else have Pandora break on Mini Connect with IOS 5 upgrade?

Yes I did. Upgraded to ios5 and Pandora stopped working. I get an error message asking to make sure I am running the latest version of Pandora. I deleted it from my phone, rebooted the phone and reinstalled Pandora and I still get the same message. On the plus side all of my album art is showing up. Can anyone help with the Pandora problem?

 

Last update to Pandora was July 27th. My guess is that they need to send out an update to their app to address an iOS 5 incompatibility.. That would be my guess.

 

That's what I am waiting for. I posted a problem report on the App Store Pandora install page.

 

I got a response yesterday from the Pandora tech support group that they are aware of the problem with the iOS5 and MINI Connected. They are working on an update now.

 

Probably not in time for my 11 hour drive to MITO '11 tomorrow...

 

I got the same message from Pandora. I was actually surprised to get a response.

Still not working!!!! I am disappointed as I only had my 2012 Clubman for 2 weeks when I upgraded my phone and lost the Pandora connection. It was one of my favorite features. I can't understand why it is taking so long for a fix.

i just took delivery Saturday, and just remembered this feature...only to find out it's broken :(

 

Probably because the customer segment represented by MINI Connected users is only a tiny fraction of the entire Pandora customer base.

I'm frustrated too. I'm allowing my complementary SIRIUS subscription to expire since the combination of Pandora, MINI Connected web radio, and local broadcasts pretty much give me everything I need -- when they're all functioning...

No MINI Connected App + Pandora

 

I tried it this morning after updating the pandora app with my iPhone 4 (iOS5) and it works like a champ. I think you have to launch pandora app on phone first then connect the usb cable. Pandora icon will pop up on screen same way "@WebRadio" does from MINI Connected app.

 

Thanks for all of the help with this problem. I have now upgraded the Pandora App and I am looking forward to using it again when I leave work today. It didn't take too long for a fix and for that I am thankful. Time too add more stations!!!!

 

I was able to get it to work.

I noticed that it would play on the aux screen even if the app was in the background on the iphone. It did not let you control, but it did cover flow. I noticed this when I shut it down to go to a audio book and pandora came up. The problem is that when I terminated pandora, the coverflow picture still remained.
