[SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Just took over driving on a daily basis my wife’s 2008 convertible S because my truck is a V8 and passes everything but a gas station. Love the car! Very fun to drive but I would like to enhance a few things and I am looking for some advice. For starters the Aux input does not like my Iphone 4. A lot of noise from the ground loop. I purchased a ground loop iso but it reduces the quality so I think I am going to need to buy an iphone interface cable. After looking at the cost of the cable is it better to buy a new head unit with a usb input and use the cable that comes with the phone? My current HU purchased with the car is the H/K radio wired for a 6 cd changer but I do not have the changer installed. I also want to buy a Iphone cradle. Looking at the craven speed “Z” bracket and scissor mount because I use the Otter Box Defender and I don’t think the regular cradle will accommodate. Any advise would be great. [/FONT][/SIZE]

Buy the newest Ipod/phone cable from the dealer. Turn off any EQ in the Ipod/phone.

I ordered my car with the smartphone prep, and now my old Iphone3 is used as an ipod and lives in the armrest. I don't use a phone for nav because I just can't see it that well. I use a Garmin suctioned to the speedo when I need nav.
