Stereo Frustration
Dear all concerned,
About once a month or more I see the same threads being thrown up here by folks that don't know how to use the search function in the top right bar of this website.
(the following topics are to be read in your most childish, sarcastic voice)
"HELP! What's the best head unit for our car?"
"Whats the best front speakers for the MINI?"
"What is BOOST?"
"Replacing the blue smoke, but I have H/K system, HELP!"
"IPOD AUX IPOD AUX IPOD AUX!!!111LOL
LOL111"
Guess what, there are no "best" anything for "our cars" as any stereo savvy poster can tell you. There ARE great speakers and there ARE awesome head units. The car they occupy is irrelevant. Perhaps you think supplementing your threads with what you want will be better: "good sound quality", "MORE BASS", "a supermodel wife and a ferrari and a mansion". This does help, and I am intrigued by the extra effort, but then I keep reading and you say, "Oh, by the way, I can't spend a penny over $67.43."
I know it's easier for you to get your question answered if you post a new thread, but you are really just angering those of us that know what we are talking about. I'm not going to post the same response on 50 different threads to please everyone. This, in turn, causes you to get responses from folks that had blown speakers, replaced them with aftermarket, and think they sound great.
You know what? They do sound great you moron, the old speakers were blown and made crackly thumping sounds. Keep your fingers off the bass and treble **** because they don't belong all the way up.
The thing is, you all want to buy good quality diamonds from a clearance rack. You want to lose weight with a diet without exercising. You will seed and fertilize your lawn but not water it. You want a great sounding stereo system with good bass but you don't want to install an amp, sub, or head unit because it is either too expensive or too intimidating. You think, maybe I'll just start a thread and the internet gods will send me the prodigy of all forum posters to answer my car audio prayers. It's not going to happen.
That being said, I do like the threads that start by comparing several head units, or comparing several speaker sets. It shows a little initiative, and makes me want to help. I know I have typed enough explanations to get someone pretty far into their own installation of a full-blown, new stereo setup for their MINI. You may have to do a bit of hunting, but it can all be found.
Now I'm done. I wish you all a lovely day.
Thanks for listening to my tantrum.

Kind of like the frustration of using the search bar to look up threads on finding useful information regarding replacing stock stereo equipment with good aftermarket suggestions...only to be forced to waste my time being directed to useless threads like this one.
I invite you to never respond to any of my posts, offer no help, and provide zero commentary on anything I ever post on this site. That way I don't waste any more of your precious time and you cease to ruin what is otherwise an outstanding community.
And in case this "rant" of mine is too long for you to be bothered with, allow me to condense it:
You are an ***.

I can see how it can become frustrating if your been a member on this site for awhile and the same thread keeps popping up repeatedly. I wouldn't take it personal. There are many members that don't mind answering the same questions repeatedly. I understand because I am a Noob and sometimes can't find the answer to my question after sifting through my search results.
