Apparently BB has Filled their Pre-Order Quota and had ONLY 5 Spaces remaining on their "Waiting List", meaning that those 5 Spaces would not receive their EVO on Launch Day, but 5 Days Later.

 

Tomorrow's the Day the HTC EVO is coming out...anyone else camping out at a Sprint Store near you?? Hubby plans to be at our Local Store by 6AM, he will drive by tonight, 10ish, to see if anyone has taken up residence in the Parking Lot yet.

 

I won't be able to get mine until Aug 1st. We would love to hear your impressions of it though!

 

I don't understand how the HTC EVO gets no news coverage like the Apples. I'm watching news right now and to my surprise they are talking about a new Apple product coming out next week

 

Found something only we could appreciate...I was on Sprint's site reading the manual & watching the videos of how to operate the new EVO and during the tutorial about "how to take video" I notice 2 MINIs in SanFran...

The black one with a white top is harder to see in the screen shot than in the video, but that silver is unmistakable

 

Hubby ended up getting to our Local Sprint Store around 5:30AM, he was 7th In Line. And since he was Off Today, he was able to Play much more than I. He's already downloaded some Apps., like Pandora...etc.!! It is a Great Phone, but I'm still on a Learning Curve...more details later.

 

Is this thing as bad of a battery hog as the early reviews are saying?

New iPhone coming on Monday. The Evo had best make a big splash very quickly.

 

It is certainly more of a Battery Hog than our Samsung Blackjack II, I ran down the battery last night playing with some Apps., I had it plugged in Today while I was searching and downlaoding Apps. I am in no way disappointed in it's Battery Usage, when you have Power at Home, Power at Work (I don't use our Power Outlets at work, but I know people who do and I know Hubby uses his at work), and Power in the Car...why not use it??!!

We decided to switch to Spring because AT&T is having major Network Issues, it is no longer downloading my e-mail from Comcast or Yahoo!!

Oh I think it has made a SPLASH, our Local Sprint Store had Sold Out, their computers even CRASHED yesterday about Noon-Thirty and did not come back up until 7:30PM, 1 Half-Hour before the Store Closed. Best Buy was Sold Out too, we stopped by both places Today to pick up some Accessories.

BTW...I paired both Hubby's and my Evo's with MS MOLY, it didn't take half as long as when I was trying to pair our Samsung Blackjack II's 2 Years ago!!

Word of Warning: It will take a bit to Sync it to your Computer...Hubby had been working on my for a least an hour tonight, but he Sync'd his with no issues.
