Kellen,

Thanks! I probably will order one in a bit.

A couple of posts back you had this in your reply " </shameless plug> ". I don't think it was at all shameless! It's great when the manufacturer takes the time to explain his product and promotes it. That's one of the reasons I use this forum to see whats new!

Thanks again...

Mike

This (and the 4" Stubby antenna) are the 1st 'mods' to my '10MCS.

Ordering & shipping were great! Even from OR to Ontario, Canada only took 10 days by UPS regular ground (including a border crossing).

When I ordered I didn't know it was 6061 (thought it was plastic or nylon) so opening and finding aluminum was a very nice surprise. Really glad it's 6061 as plastic or nylon would not be strong enough.

Really easy to mount (< 5mins). It took me another 10min to thread the Garmin 250w cable down to the 12v plug. Will look at hardwiring another time as I'm thinking of getting a newer Garmin later this year.

A much improved installation over the suction cup mount that I used on the windshield of my previous car. Great product, highly recommended.

Now that is a very interesting location indeed. I couldn't do that with the mount for the Nuvi 760, but I like the idea.
