Alpine R56 upgrade speaker/amp system

Does anyone have any information regarding the Alpine R56/55 Front speaker upgrade system that is available just about everywhere over in the UK?
See it here:

Looks like a nice kit from a quality manufacturer. Unfortunately, its about £300 but with tax and shipping it gets up to like £450... That’s almost $750 with over $200 for shipping and tax. I was hoping to find this same product through some source here in the US at closer to $500. Any thoughts?

If it helps you will not pay the VAT because you are in NY not the UK. If you proceed to checkout on that site and select US it gets rid of the VAT and adds DHL 1-4 day shipping. Google converts the 386 pounds to $591. You could probably ask them to send it a slower method if you want to get costs down.

You then need the A-pillars too don't you?

Now, are all those parts stuff you can just get off of crutchfield if you know what to ask for? Or are there specific mini parts in there?

Yes you would also need to get the A-pillar trim pieces. This kit is MINI specific nothing generic here.
