Any Suggestions for a Great iPhone Mounting Solutions?

So, I've been using the Kensington Power Port Mount for iPhone and it has been great. But I'm getting annoyed by the suction cup method. It keeps falling off and leaves a nasty windshield mark. I'm looking for a more permanent solution for an iPhone that has a case.

I have looked at ProClip's mounting system and the FlexPod system but just can't find a good one that would last and is at eye-level.

If anyone has any suggestions, please help an '02 owner out. Thank you!

I opted to make my own. I could not see paying $80 for the tach mount. So I had a piece of plexy from one of my embroidery attachments. I cut it to fit behind the tach and use the existing screw holes to mount it, then it extends off the back of the tach about 3 inches(to the right) then turns 90 degrees vertical. I retrofitted a universal iPhone mount to the end of the 90 and walla! it is in perfect sight, not blocking the ac vent or in the way of the wheel. Perfect for $5!

Ill try and post a pic of it. I've never done the photobucket or photo pasting to the web. I know I know...get with the times...lol

I also have the KUDA unit, but I am having problems with it working with the DICE Silverline unit. What are you using gran turismo?

I use an iPhone 3Gs and a JVC El Chameleon KD AVX 44 headunit. The Kuda mount acts as a "pass through" from the headunit to the iPhone.

I've had the ProClip for about a year and am very happy with it.
