My iPhone Set-Up

I used to keep my iPhone in my 1st gens cupholder, and it worked out great. But now that the 2nd gen cup holders are deeper and have a greater diameter the phone sits in a bit too far for my liking. So I bought a mount and charger and went to work.

If you want to follow my set up, I bought the LiquidAUX for iPhone by Kensington for power/audio (through the AUX input.) Link to purchase. Then for the mount I went with Ped-3-Auto-FORM from Thoughout. Link to purchase. Knowing that the 5" wasn't going to be enough to give me much play room I bought a 4" extender. Link to purchase.

Final cost came to about $125 after shipping. All in all, well worth it in my opinion. With the mount you can rotate the phone to make it landscape, for if you are using a GPS app or something of that nature.

Double sided sticky tape to the panel to the left of the center cluster.

Is it working ok for you? It looks really good. I was curious about the PED3, how it looked installed. Have you noticed any significant vibration on the holder while driving?

Thanks

Everything seems to work great. No problems with it vibrating out of place while driving. Best part is, I can tap for song changes without taking my eyes far from the road.

Looks pretty good, it would be good to see a pic of the actual mounting of the PED3 to the dash. I wonder if this would fit an R53, don't see why not.
