I had a shop do the install. All speakers are Hertz. The amp is Audison. All i keep hearing from everyone is how clean and crisp it sounds. The box is fiberglassed as you can see in the spare wheel well.

I'm afraid to ask, what did it run you?

Also, did you replace the head unit? If not do you have the hi-fi or low-fi version?

It cost a few pretty pennies. A little less than $3k. But most of that is due to the high end audio equipment.

I have the Hi-fi system. Kept the stock head unit.

I upgraded all the speakers. added an amp and a sub.

i hope it sounds as awesome as it looks!!

i currently have a regular 10inch sealed box (that looks prettyyyy ugglyy) so one of my summer projects is to build a crazy box and i think i may try my hand at fiberglass (but probably not gonna get too far haha)

I just recently tried my hand at using fiberglass, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I don't have a clubman so I glassed the tool tray in my MCS, and used MDF for the sides and top.

You should really try it!

thats how i saw most people do fiberglass boxes. i will have to figure out the math on it. i tried to make an MDF box but my math was off...i dont know how or why (seeing as how im an accounting major) but i will give it another shot. thanks for the advice.
