Lower door speaker

So while getting out of my car tonight, my ******* girlfriend used her foot to push open the door by way of the lower (6"?) speaker shroud. Suffice to say, she cracked the thing.

Is it replaceable as a standalone part, or is it part of the door panel? If it can indeed be replaced on it's own, how can I go about removing it?

I found the speaker replacement thread (with pics) that Outmotoring posted, but the information and photos don't give me the most detailed information.

I need a new girlfriend.

Thanks in advance for the input.

I think your best bet is to call your MINI dealer and just ask whomever is working the parts/service dept. Get a serial number or whatnot for the part, then call around. I think if if it is the mesh part that as broken on the speaker, that can be replaced. Anything else, and I think it is part of the door trim and might cost a little more coin.

I think you need a new girlfriend too! I hope she was remorseful!

but you'll have to search with your vehicle info, model, production date etc.

I hate to say this but if the Girlfriend treats you car like that i think you need a new girlfriend.

But at any rate call your dealer with your VIN number and they can give you the exact part number to match your car, then find out how much it is from RELOEM.com listed above.
