Blackberry 8120 and bluetooth

Has anyone successfully synced up a Blackberry Pearl 8120 with the 2008 factory installed Mini Bluetooth? It seems that most Blackberries work. I'm thinking of buy one but need to know first. Thanks in advance.

It looks like the King of Bluetooth (nicknbecka) has not had a report on that specific phone yet. The phone is listed on the spreadsheet but has no info on whether it works or not.

You can see the spread sheet here.

As for it working, 99% chance it does as all the other models seem to work.

If for some reason it doe not work you should be able to exchange it for another model from your carrier. Most carriers are good about exchanging phones for a short period after you first get it.

Just did some additional checking around, 'cause sometimes I miss stuff as people comment on it. Still no reports on the 8120, but as Schatzy already said, it's a 99% chance it'll be identical to the other Blackberrys- there's other similar Pearls that also work.

Mine works. The only quirk is that sometimes the phone and the blue tooth don't automatically find each other and I have to go to the phone settings and tell it to connect. -- Also, if you have a headset in the car with you, even if it isn't turned on, this seems able to confuse the "in car" unit and it doesn't want to talk to you (jealous, that you are seeing someone else?), but that has been the extent of the problems.

Thanks Leon, have you tried using voice commands with it?

Hey thanks for the info, Leon D. Glad to hear it works. I don't have a headset so that won't be a problem.
