Little too extreme for my taste.

Are they white? They could be chrome of stainless steel. That wouldn't look so bad. I think their purpose is to allow you to put stuff on top of them.

That Roadster setup looks great, BUT, like the others, it doesn't allow you to really use the boot afterward. I always have stuff, bags... in my boot, so either the sub will get muffled becuase it's covered, Or worse my bags / stuff will be raddling from the bass.

We desparately need a side mounted enclosure. there is tons of space on that passenger side.

I wish they had more pictures of it installed.
Well, that's it for me, the JL solution is not practical at all. I'm going to go with the Infinity Basslink that I have in the basement, it actually fits in the trunk quite well and doesn't need to get a sense wire from the headunit so install should be pretty easy. And it's cheap.

Wow, what a disappointment. The JLBox is way too much for a "stealthbox" type of install.

I found it online here: https://specialistscaraudio.com/home...tion=0&page=18

FOR $1300.00!!!!

I'm going to end up with a JL sub in there, but seriously, wtf...

$1300!! What is JL smoking? I just got a quote last week for a CUSTOM FIBERGLASS box, with 10" brand name woofer, and brand name 500watt amp for $1000, installed, custom fit to the passenger side fake wall sticking out only a few inches. They will do it in 2 days, 1 day to shape box and layup fibergalss and let harden, 2nd day to glue on felt, install speaker and amp, and install in car.

Think I'm goin that route...
