Show me your Install Prep!

I would like to see photos of install preparation. Sound deadening and maybe even sealing the doors up?

Where did you end up mounting the amplifier in that install?

Yes Alpine Type R components up front. Had to build a baffle for the woofer to fit without rubbing the window rail.

Amplifier is mounted on the floorin the back above the battery. I used a Kicker 550.3 amp, it powers the whole system. 6.5" Type R's in the front and JL Audio 6W0's in rear. Very great sound for around $500 with my labor.

Are the 6W0's in the stock rear location or somewhere else? Great idea!

Looking good BTT.

I will put my photos up a little later today when I have some more time. I have 30 some photos just from sound deadening the doors and hatch area.

I mounted them in the stock 6x9 location with a little cutting and a baffle board!

I have pics somewhere, need to find them for you.

That would be great. I am going to attempt the same thing, but with some 8" woofers. Hopefully there is enough material for cutting
