4 channel install w/ pics

I wasn't to thrilled with the Harmon Kardon system so I did a few minor changes. I bought a Alpine PDX4100 4 channel digital amp and tucked it way in one of the rear cubby holes in the rear. I put in my old Eclipse 5304 Head Unit and I put my Audio Control 3.1 crossover in the glovebox. And I still have the Harmon Kardon speakers in. To my surprise it sounds alot better than I was expecting. Probably the best sounding stock speakers I've ever heard (even though I do plan on switchin them out)

I don't have pics of the audio control in the glove box yet cuz I haven't finished mounting it. Its going to be mounted to the top of the glovebox so I can still use it. I also plan on getting an Alpine PDX1600 and a 10" woofer for the rear, getting a indash tv and switching out to all MB Quart componet sets inside (I have a 6.5 componet set already that I didn't install, I was waiting till I could do all the insides at the same time).

How did you deal with the H/K speakers having no cross-overs?

I didn't. I just made sure to keep the amp down and I'm not trying to push them too hard. I plan on replacing them anyways so I'm not really too worried about it. I had a Boston Acoustic componet set before where one of the crossovers fried and I just eliminated the other cross-over and never had a problem with them. I've had them like that for almost 2 years. I still have them but they won't fit in the MINI.
