Jim that is okay and not to worry as it works fine.

Now regarding which screws,I first drilled small holes through the Kuda mount using the adaptor as a template then I used the 4 screws,4 washers and 4 nuts to anchor it to the mount.

I hope that helps.
Thank you very much Jim R. I too have saved this link and when the mount arrives this week I'm way ahead of the game. Now I will admit that talking the car apart did sould like fun, but I believe I'll thry this method.

Jim R. the Kuda arrived today and was installed in less then a minute. Thanks for all the assistance.

You have the same adapter that I have so I have a question. It looks like it will move from side to side to allow for even better adjustment. I undid the holding screw, but it will only move a little before it hits a stop of some sort. Do you know how to get it to swing either way??

Jim,
That is excellent to hear and see how easy to install the KUDA mount is doing it that way.
And you are very welcome and I am glad that I could help.

lacning74 answered your other question already but I do see what you mean about it looking like it could swivel from side to side.I did the same thing too when I got mine by undoing the holding screw only to find out it won't.

Honestly, I truely do thank both you guys for pointing me in the right direction and providing the links to the posts from the other folks who gave you all direction. It really seems strange that the attachment will not turn. I wonder why they built it that way if it serves no function? At any rate it works just fine and I am pleased, as I am sure you are as well.

Jim

I see that you have the power cable attacherd to the mount. How did you run the wire?

Is there any (easy) way to to remove the dash insert so that the wires could be hidden behind it? There seems to be room at the corners for the wire itself to come through, but not the connector. I have them running in the grove right now which is OK, but completely hissed would be better.
