I have e-mailed Mike at newministuff and asked for clarification of what wires need to be spliced as the description states

"Titles will scroll across your factory stereo/nav display"

and this to me would mean that it is injecting some sort of data into one of the three computers that deal with this info. If it is injecting info then it would be very easy for the dealer to say "warranty does not cover repairs as you input non mini data into one of the mini modules"

I have not had a response from Mike yet but when i do get one i will post that info here.

I'm guessing it's an FM modulator that transmits track data via RDS like the new DICE kit. That'd probably make the connections: FM antenna, power and ground.
