I'm having a kerfuffle with my dealer about piano black interiors and blind rings (which you can read about in the blind ring thread). To cut a long story short if any of you have a JCW, with a piano black interior, could you take a picture that shows the trim and the centre instrument binnacle of your car and upload it on here? I'd be deeply grateful.

I don't have pictures of "the lemon" but it definitely had piano black and the standard JCW blind ring. End of discussion.
I tend to think that people that work for MINI are slightly smarter...but clearly this is not the case with your guy!....i'm sure he is nice though...

 

I just got my 16' JCW and have the Piano Black trim and the "JCW" blind ring. Will get a shot this PM and upload it for you. Things should never be this difficult!

 

Couldn't agree more. When cars are this complicated and frankly temperamental they should install a way better way to communicate. Allowing dealers to make things up is unacceptable. The Mini communications/parts database needs to be better than the cars. At the moment it is like sending troops to war and the commander is drunk....!

My UK JCW will arrived in 7-10 days and has the piano black interior, so I'll let you know what blind ring it has.
