Stock HK speakers

Does anyone know about the the placement of the subwoofer, or if it even has one? I have a 05 Cooper S with a Harmon Kardon system. And also where the amp is? Thanks

"Dual purpose" subs are located on either side in back seat area behind grills. The amp is located in the right-hand boot compartment behind removable panel.

Thanks a bunch. Are they true subs with a tweeter on them or something? You say dual purpose, not exactly sure what that means.

They're two-way coaxial speakers, with a tweeter and a 6.5" midrange driver. There's no dedicated subwoofer in the H/K package.

Actually, the rear speakers in the HK system are 6x9. They don't have any tweeters and actually do a decent job as a "sub".

Ack! - you're right - they're 6"X9" in the coupe - I was thinking of my convertible. Sorry about that.
