So I been so anxious of my MINI to come that I never checked the order detail but just been simply checking the status. Its on its way over here but I realized today that under the order detail, it lists everything including the interior, color, multi-steering wheel, dynamic stability, but not the BLUETOOTH/IPOD ADAPTER. But I think he told me that this item is not an after market product, so meaning they would have to have installed in in Britain already? Please please some one who has ordered the bluetooth previously, let me know if it was listed on your order detail because I AM REALLY WORRIED!

 

If you are judging from the owner's lounge listing no need to be worried. It often doesn't list all the options. I'd call your MA and ask him if it is on. It should come from the factory.

 

Number 4's order is like that. Our MA assured us that the iPod/Bluetooth really is there. We're going to find out tomorrow when we (hopefully) pick him up.

I actually tried to contact my MA, but he no longer works there so I will just have to ask someone else about this regard. Hopefully it all works out and it does come with the bluetooth that I have always wanted!

 

If you ordered a package that contain the bluetooth/ipod adapter it will definitely not show up on the OL. As for if it was separate from a package then if it is on the order sheet (you should have been given one) then it should be there. If you were not given an order sheet call the dealer and find out who not new MA should be and get him/her to send you a copy of the order sheet.

Just be warned there is a short list of authorized phones that work with the bluetooth systems in the Mini's. You may want to check on this thread to get a better idea if your phone will work.

I know i have gone through two different models from LG and they do not function properly with the Mini. I have ended up getting my old phone fixed (it broke two weeks before my new Mini came in) so that i can have a phone that works properly with the Mini.

Don't panic! I had the same issue. Ordered the standard Bluetooth option. It was on the order sheet I signed at the dealer but didn't show up on the MiniUSA spec sheet. It was there when I picked up the car and works great with my iPhone.

Good to know the Iphone works! Yes, my specs in the owners lounge site aren't correct either but my MA told me it happens a lot. That it's not always up to date Oh well.

**edit...just checked and now my order is correct. Still listed as ON ORDER....can't wait for that to change :D**

 

We did get the iPod and BlueTooth finally, even though the lounge wasn't showing it. (Works great with my iPhone and the wife's Nokia.)

Now I'm wishing Tristan had the Bluetooth as well.

 

Well, it was listed on the order sheet I signed also but just not on the website, so lets just pray that like all of your situations, it wasnt listed but comes with it and thank you for showing me the phone list of compatibility. I will let you guys know what happens when my car comes in three weeks! CANT WAIT!
