Voice/phone command problem. Help.

I searched and did not find any results.
The manual states "store name" to load the name/number. The system responds back "star 9" ????
I push the voice button "enter name" "please say the name" "%#&@"/repeat "please say the number" repeats number. From here is where it stops working. I say store name...nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any input.

This has been discussed before. There is a misprint in the manual. Instead of store you are suppsoed to say save. I'm not 100% on this though as it's been a few months since I've done it.

Best thing to do is to say help and the car will list the number of available commands.

It is a bit frustrating.

I tried that. It says something like "pound 9"????
Thanks though. I will probably have to take a trip to the dealer.

I just got one in using "save" then it started cutting me off in the middle of loading the info on the next one. It did this 5 times in a row and I cut IT off.

Since I just attempted this and kept hearing something like "phone book empty" after several attempts, I decided it was getting cold and late. Came in saw this thread and did a search finding https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...voice+commands and from there I went to https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=113353 where in the first post we find:

1) PUSH Voice Dial button on wheel...
2) "BEEP"
YOU - "SAVE Name" (you must say SAVE, not Store like the manual says to do)
3) MR BT - - "Say the name "
You
- -"......." (what ever name you want to save)
4) MR BT - - "Say the Name Again"
YOU - - "........" (again, say the name)
5) MR BT - - "Say the number"
YOU - - "###-###-####"
6) MR BT - - repeats "###-###-####"
MR BT - - "Continue"
YOU - - "SAVE"

Hope this helps!!!
Tomorrow I will try again using "Save Name" and report back - hopefully with good news. Then I will kiss the feet of this fellow.
