The Sub is custom fibderglass and fits to the exact contours of the car. If you see my other thread you will see what's under the sub and the rest of the set up:

Thanks. It's not built to thump but to fill the car with the bass that should be there. I like that the Alpine headunit has a subwoofer control, with the top down I can pump up the bass and hear/feel it as I am speeding along the highway.

But at slower speeds or with the top up the car is filled with nice tight bass that sounds incredible. This morning I drove into work enjoying the Wall (disc 1) and it sounded like my home stereo - that was the goal, and it was achieved. The Diamond components belong in our Mini's - we will need to get together again so you can hear this. That and I want to see your mods in action ! are you faster than the JCW's yet ??
