I have a 2007 with the audio package with sirius and the handsfree

I want to install an IPOD adapter that will allow me to control song selection etc using the IPOD

I don't want to use the mini issue one -- u can only control the ipod using the radio head with it

Any help will be much appreciated

If you are not going to use the head unit/car controls to control the IPOD and want to use the IPOD buttons, why not just use the aux input?

 

I'd like to connect the audio and also get power and not have the extra cord hanging around -- i know it seems picky but the fewer cords the better

Are there any car cradles that charge the ipod? Maybe use one of those and the aux input? That would be only 1 cable to the aux if you hardwired the power to the cradle (assuming there is such a thing).
