LG Navigation System

Has anyone purchased a LG Portable Nav system (LN-740)? All the reviews and owner feedback I can find is quite positive. Seems like the going price is $450 and has features similar to Garmin Nuvi 660 including a 4 inch screen. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have purchased one of these units. Thanks Mike

And that's it in a nutshell. LG makes some great stuff, but they don't have the background in GPS. Give 'em a few years.

i bought a LG LN735 just last week! it matches the piano black dashboard nicely. it is a much better experience than the Pioneer portable unit AVIC-s2 unit which got stolen 2 weeks ago. Much easier to use, says out loud the street names and more POIs. I had bluetooth on the Pioneer and only used it once in 2 months, often the speakers on them are too soft to have a phone conversation with.

But be careful! don't leave you GPS stand and wires in sight when you park...i learnt it the hard way
