NAV replaced with Speedo?

I have a west coast 2003 MCS with CD based NAV I was thinking about upgradeing to the DVD based NAV (expensive)but I am also thinking about removing the built in NAV and going with a different system altogether. I am wondering if it is possible to remove the built in NAV and replace it with the center mount Speedo. Any one have any ideas?

To expand on the simple answer, the wiring harness is very different for a car w/ Nav. You will spend countless time and $ to make this change. Your best bet is to pick a different path.

If you still want to go for it you might want to chat with Edge. He is doing the (thought) impossible. Having the DPSM installed in a car that came with HK. Maybe the wizards performing this magic have some tips for you
