I got to tag two people today.

One I came up from behind while outbound from base. I recognized the car belonging to one of the guys that work on base, but I've never had the opportunity to meet him. Followed him into the golf course on base, introduced myself, and gave him one of the calling cards.

The other I saw while in town. Got a wave back, but I didn't have time to turn around because I was on my way to the bank. After leaving the bank I was waiting at a traffic light when I saw the same MINI turning the same way I was going. I was able to get right up behind them. They then turned into a church parking lot figuring I probably want to talk to them. They were correct! Gave her a card and she showed a lot of interest in getting involved in our get togethers.

 

what a great idea!!! I'm always leaving notes on other MINIs anyways :p

 

YAY HAL!!! That is GREAT! I tagged two yesterday and three today. . .actually turned around to tag one I saw on my way home today.

i'm a pastry cook so I work a lot but am all for getting a group together. I tried last year and did a few runs but never got huge turn out. Hopefully those of us that want to start one up can all kick start this!!!! :D

 

A pastry cook. . how awesome!!! Maybe you can give me a couple of good recipes. I love trying new things in the kitchen.

Dawn, when you come down for the Drive & Movie, bring me about ten more cards if you have them to spare. I've only got one left now. This is one of the best ideas anyone has come up with in a long time to help promote a MINI club in this area.
