It has been slow in this forum. Happily, people are buying.

Hey just found out that MTH are no longer offering the 12 month update when you order the tuner file. What's the go there?

It simply became too costly a program. Updates are still free when your vehicle is recalled for a dealer flash. Other than that the price is around $100.

It's a shame though as I definitely think that's it's biggest attraction over all the other tuners.

Does this also pertain to people who already purchased the MTH tuner file and are still within the free updates period since purchase? Or does this affect all MTH owners, whether they bought it prior to this change?

MTH Updates

The main attraction about MTH is not free updates, but that they offer updates at all. Fact is, that MTH is about the only tuner which tunes for their customer's individual circumstances and requirements.

MTH tuning is not generic, off-the-shelf, out-of-the-box... software. It is individual programing, where carefull consideration is taken in regard to: regional octane levels and climates; not to mention various combinations of fitted performance parts - By the way, not all performance parts are complimentary to one another.

TIP: Plan which mods you wish to make, fit the parts and then order your MTH-Optimisation software; you will then reduce your optimisation costs to a minimum.
