Took my MCS with Tuner File in for Oil Change ...
Ever since I got it back, it seems like the yo-yo is back a bit. Could be my imagination.
Is there a way to tell whether the dealer overwrote my ECU? They didn't do a software upgrade (or at least they didn't tell me they did). Any easy way to tell? Or should I just upload the tuner file again?

take it up to redline and see if it has been reduced. I doubt that they just programmed your dme. Without a line on the repair order or warranty clearance, It would only waste the tech's time and neither the dealer or tech would get paid for it.
How do you like your tuner file? I just sent out my files to upgrade from standard.

A couple of times when I took my Cooper in, the service dept updated my ECU without telling me. It was stated on the service ticket that I got in the mail a couple of days after I picked up my car. I finally convinced them to tell me whenever they decided to do that. They only did it a couple of times, but it sure makes it inconvenient to have to run down an agent again with a cable and a laptop. Now that I have an "S", I've got my own cable and laptop, so I can stay on top of this stuff better. As for the MTH Tuner, love it, love it, love it!

on stock redline is where the redlines start on the tach but after mth upload the lines dont change because they are lit up by little led's. Youd have to change the led's to get the lines to change, which looks cool but from what i understand is quite the process.
