Lets say I have the MTH tuner software installed and then add an intake to the car. Do I need to drive the car for a while for the ECU to learn the difference with the intake installed? Or do I get the software updated immediately after adding the intake. Do you modify the software based on what you see when getting the ECU download or is the software written based on the mods you know are installed?

 

from my understanding (wait for VK for the real answer) but the map is mod specific, its designed to optimize your current configuration. so if you get another addition you should purchase an upgrade file and specify what mods you have now with the new addition. the mapping will not adapt to the intake

 

Also, remember that you dont have to buy upgrades for 12 mo. with the tuner file, since they're included.
