One week to go!! Looking forward to a great time. I looked at the forcast and it doesn't look very good though . Cold and rainy .

 

It can rain all night as long as it dries up during the day.

 

even though the forecast calls for rain in the area
it seems to not rain as much up in the mountains (sometimes)
just something i noticed the last 1/2 a dozen times there

I was up on the Dragon on 10/8-10/10. Leaves had started turning already. Lots of yellows and golds. Some reds. Still lots of green.

Also lots of motorcycles. Unfortunately 2 of them were decorating trees. 2 separate bike accidents on the same turn in 2 days.

Traffic wasn't horrible Saturday afternoon, but Friday afternoon it was fairly busy.

Enjoy the ride! Wish I could join you. Only thing really stopping me is a room (i.e., money). Pretty sure I could get the time off from work. :(

 

So far MINI count from Atlanta is 5.

 

PM me if anyone wouldn't mind another roomy. Hate to ask and even worse to impose. But I really want to go back up there and meet folks face to face. Can't afford a room to myself and what's the fun in that anyways? :smile:
