Silly me. I thought the Dragon ended at Tapoco or even Robbinsville. Tapoco is farther south from that gas station right?

A couple miles down the road. It's the closest lodge to the Crossroads of Time, the gas station in the photo.

Silly NC smokey. The dragon starts in Tennessee.

I'll miss you guys next weekend as I have to go to Atlanta. I was going to try and take the scenic route in Casper on Friday and maybe catch some of ya but I find I must ride a bus with a large number of high school band students. Way scarier than the dragon, dont you think? Ya'll leave a little rubber on the road for me would ya?

Did we firm up any ideas for a Halloween-based FOTD2? I can offer to scare people by offering rides in MM2

He's not kidding! I rode with him in MM2 in July, and it was scary, yet THRILLING, tee hee! So good that he has the Schroth harnesses!

If you want to NOT be tossed about as much, the Schroth harnesses are the way to go, WMWNY! If I hadn't worn one on my little "spin" from Fontana Village to Deal's Gap in Rye's MM2, I would have been one very bruised lady!

I'd love a ride in MM2 if Ryephile will oblige me. Always up for a thrill.

BTW, what does MM2 stand for? Minute Maid 2?

 MM2 = Mr. Motor 2  Rye totalled MM1, so MM2 is the replacement MINI!

 I'll bet he'd oblige you...just make sure you are comfortable riding as a passenger! Not all MINIacs are! I love shotgunning through the Dragon, but others get queasy or worse!

Totalled!? I missed that news! Never been a passenger in a MINI, let alone with a MINI maniac driving.

MM2 could be Mighty MINI 2.

Well, Clo...looks as if you'll have to suffer thru a normal seatbelted run thru the Dragon in my car. But, what the heck...MINI motoring was made for times like these!

Whooooyaaaa!

just checked the weather says it will be in the Mid 70's with lows in the 50's calling for "showers" but only 20-30% chance of precip, cloudy though, Hey all it's going to be great to be back on the Dragon only three wakeups to go!

Oh, I've gone through the Dragon ONLY with the OEM seatbelts! LOL! I will admit to being sore the next day after several runs. I got to sample Rye's Schroth harness traveling from Fontana Village to the beginning of the Dragon. Once we stopped at the Crossroads of Time (at Deal's Gap), as we always do before starting the runs, I leapt out of MM2, and HAD to have a smoke...LOL...as it was almost better than sex!

I also came to my senses and hopped back into sndwave's BLU MENE!

I'm going down also, just didn't tell ya till today. I'm in Minesota, driving home to michigan tomorow, and then wednesday picking up my new tires and wheels for the dragon, then going down there, with Rye, and I'm a wicked LY/LY CVT to scare some people,

Mini has K&N Intake, Miltek Header, Helix13 Cat-Back, Schrick Cam. Along with some lights to make people move out of the way at night and the Harnesses no doubt. Oh yeah I have the loudest stereo in a Mini. If ya want the music for the night, just drop me a line.
