Bringing your dog to MITM '09??

Thanks to all those who helped me with my MITM09 "dog headcount" by participating in the poll I posted.

As I mentioned in my poll thread, I wasn't able to get any official MITM "swag" for our dogs this year (minimums for any of the cool stuff was just too high!); however, I will have a wee gift for all MITM dogs this year.

So...
if you are bringing a dog or dogs to MITM this week, please stop by the Detailers Paradise/Prima booth (next to the Car Wash Area) for a FREE doggie goodie bag!

See you, and your pups, soon!

-Heather

Ruby and Sadie will be there to get theirs. They are being so good on this trip so far. But they were not impressed with the 100F temps when we motored out to 4 Corners today. Desert hounds they are not, they had to do the hot 4 step on the monument to get their picture taken today.

After a hard day motoring in the desert

See you all in a few days

Tell them I'm impressed that they suffered the hot 4 step just to stand on 4 states at one time! Not many dogs can say that.

Looks like you're having fun!

Harvey, our black lab, is looking forward to meeting Ruby and Sadie, and you, Heather. This will be his first long trip in the mini. We did a trial run to our Sonic get together and he did just fine, not too happy about not having a window and he is not getting the front seat!

Don't forget about the hot pavement on their little paws! We'll have water bowls next to our MINIs for furry visitors

Harvey has his hiking boots packed, with two bowls, treats, food, sleeping bag, and bug repelent bandanas. Not much room left for his people!

Would really love to bring our lab, Phoebe, but it's a little far to bring an old dog witth health issues. Hopefully she won't be too mad at us for leaving her withh our daughter!

I'm ready to see Finn!

Great idea Teena! I'll have a bucket of water for Finn at our booth anyway so I'll make sure it's available to any canine passersby as well. Between the two of us, we'll at least have 2 water relief stations for the MITM dogs!

Are you guys bringing yours? (if so, are you hauling a trailer?? )

I know what you mean... I'm used to over-packing for Finn and now I have a 10-month (of the human variety) to pack as well. I don't know how I'll fit my own things in, even with the giant rig I'm driving up! So, if you all see me in the same shirt and shorts every day, you now know why! (I hope I'm kidding!)

Poor Phoebe. There are many others attending who, for various reasons, have had to leave their dog(s) behind. Sometimes that's just best though of course! Maybe you should form a MITM support group for those who had to leave their pups behind! I'll bet Phoebe will have a grand time with your daughter though.

OH I hope mine don't see this.... We would probably bring peanut but not sure about leaving her during the day while rafting.
Anyone have any pups small/medium prefereably short hair to give away? My daughter took my dog off to college now I need a new one.

Of course I want a Bulldog to name Caesar but no one wants to spend that much money?? go figure

While picking up food for my Mals at PET-CO, I came across this "mini-esque" styled water bowl. The red water bowl was on sale for $3.00 (from $18.99!) Didn't know until it rang up at the register. There were also black bowls...but those were regular price. This is considered "medium".
